Alva S Pack III, Optometrist

Dr. Pack attended Furman University and graduated from Orlando Junior College. He graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. He has practiced in Spartanburg for 39 years. Dr. Pack is a member of the Spartanburg Sertoma Club and has served as the past president of the Spartanburg Jaycees, Civitan Club, and the South Carolina Optometric Association. He and his wife attend First Presbyterian of Spartanburg.

Louis Martin, Optometrist

Dr. Martin graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, AL and Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. He also completed an ocular disease residency at the Hampton Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Hampton, VA. He has been practicing in Spartanburg since 2005. Dr. Martin is a member of the American, South Carolina, and Piedmont Optometric Associations. He is also involved in the Spartanburg Lions Club. Dr. Martin and his wife are active in their church, Spartanburg First Baptist. He and his wife welcomed their first child, Ligon, into the world in August 2008.

Janell Martin, Optometrist

Dr. Martin graduated from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA and Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She also completed an ocular disease residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Albuquerque, NM. She has been practicing in Spartanburg since 2005, but recently joined her husband and Dr. Pack in this practice. Dr. Martin is a member of the American, South Carolina, and Piedmont Optometric Associations. She is also very involved in the Junior League of Spartanburg. She also enjoys being a Tupperware Consultant. Dr. Martin and her husband are active in their church, Spartanburg First Baptist. She and her husband have a son, Ligon, who will be two in August. When free time can be found with a two year old son, Dr. Martin can be found with a good book in hand.

Dawn Bartlett, Optician

Dawn is 55 years old and has been involved in the practice for 13 years. She states that she greatly enjoys her job because of the opportunity to meet new patients every day and also the opportunity to interact with returning patients.

I have expanded my knowledge over the past 12 years in all areas of the optometric profession. It is my privilege to assist in any way to insure that you have a satisfactory and enjoyable visit at our office.

Christina Debiase, Technician

Christina has been a part of the practice for 7 years. She moved to South Carolina from upstate New York 15 years ago. She says that working in the practice has always been enjoyable for her. She states the practice has a family atmosphere, and enjoys seeing our patients come back every year.

Sam is the newest addition to our team. She was born and raised in Greenville. She now lives in Campobello. Sam enjoys working in the eyecare field and loves meeting and talking with new people. She loves the friendliness of our staff team.
